Whiskey Moscow Mule

whiskey moscow mule recipe

This week, I was looking for something a little more refreshing, so I’m introducing the Whiskey Moscow Mule. Whiskey can be very heavy and rich to the taste so I often find myself diluting it with ginger ale. However, a whiskey and ginger ale is so boring. I wanted to add a little bit more flavor to it. That’s where I got the idea to take the concept of a Moscow mule and make it with a twist.

I typically don’t like Moscow mules because I’m not a fan of vodka or ginger beer so this whiskey spin is perfect. My favorite part of this, is how little ingredients you actually have to use. Here’s what you’ll need.

Ingredients

3 oz. whiskey of your choice

1 cup of ginger ale

1 lemon wedge

First, you pour the whiskey into the copper mug. In this case, I used a Japanese whiskey.

Then, add your ginger ale and stir gently. You don’t want to lose the carbonation.

Next, add ice and squeeze the wedge of lime into the drink. You can use that same lime as a garnish for the top of the drink.

And there you have it! A refreshing whiskey twist to a Moscow mule. Cheers!
